According to the baptismal certification's official translate from 1940 he was born on August 21, 1846 in the 26th house of Brünn (Czech Republic), and at the same day was christened by parson Francis (Frantiąek) ®ouľelka in the St. Jacob church in Lesnice
(photo).
(Brünn is the historical Hungarian and German name of the town Brno,  but I don't think that they traveled 75 mph with a newborn child... I could find with more months research that the right birthplace is Brníčkos
(historical German name: Brünnles) 26th house and this is a neighbor village of Lesnice.)

Father: Joseph (Josef) Skoumal - settler in Brníčko,
Grandfather: Josef Skoumal
Grandmother: Barbara (Barbora) Roztomilá, who is daughter of Jacob (Jakub) Roztomilý - gardener  in Strupąín.

Mother: Josepha (Josefa) Berka
Grandfather: Francis (Frantiąek) Berka, settler in Lesnice
Grandmother: Katherine (Kateřina) Kouril, who is daughter of Nicholas (Mikuláą) Kouril - Sudkov.

Godparents: Francis Höser, settler in Krumpach and his wife Katherine. (Krumpach is today a part of the town Zábřeh)

He moved to Hungary in 1869 and married Gisela Simon from Tápiószele in 1873, in Vác. He was post officer since February 2, 1870. He worked in Budapest till 1883 (addresses: Budapest-Józsefváros, József street 38, later: Tavaszmező street 1), then he was post director in Jászberény till 1901, then he was removed to Budapest again.
